• January 2004: 'Urban China 2020; een uniek en ambitieus onderzoek', article on the Urban China 2020 project in BNSP nieuws, magazine published by the organization for Dutch urban designers and planners.
  
  
• March 2004: Beijing and Beyond, two essays by the DCF for Factory 798, published in China.
  
  
• April 2004: Lecture series organized by the DCF in collaboration with BNSP and Arcam and newsletters with summaries of all lectures to the attendants.
